Sales & Account Manager, Summer 2010
Idea Incentives is a Vancouver based corporate gift company specializing in providing symbolic Canadian gifts to the hospitality and tourism industry. We are seeking a Sales and Account Manager to join our sales team based on the West Side of Vancouver.
Working at Idea Incentives is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building new business, maintaining current accounts and providing exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional, and creative work environment.
Attributes that make our sales managers successful are a continual desire to prospect and close business, a sincere interest in providing exceptional customer service, and strong, attentive communication and organisation skills.
You should have the following skills:
- Sales diploma, plus 3-5 years proven sales experience
- Strong inside sales and account management skills in an office environment
- Strong ability to build relationships and leads through prospecting and qualifying calls
- Strong ability to organize and prioritise daily activities and keep a clear head
- Strong ability to work in Word, Excel, Maximizer and a product database
- Good attention to detail and strong communication skills
- A knowledge of or a strong interest in Canadian gifts, promotional items and the incentive travel industry
- A positive, motivated, and thoughtful attitude
- Proven success in base salary plus commission environment
- Experience in product sales, preferably with a large product line
- Experience preparing proposals within a timeline
Renumeration:
Salary plus incentives, plus benefits following a 3 month probation period.
